Carl’s Care™ 2022 Academic Scholarship Recipient

Carl’s Care™ awarded the 2022 Academic Scholarship to Ms. Shelmith Mutheu who recently graduated with top academic honors from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi, Kenya.  She earned her bachelor of science degree in Microbiology.  

In her spare time, Shelmith volunteers at the Kenya Medical Research Institute, an organization responsible for conducting research on viruses such as HIV and AIDS, as she is passionate about researching new techniques for early diagnosis and affordable treatment.  She is also focused on raising awareness for cancer-education programs geared at reducing both the incidence of cancer and mortality.  Carl’s Care™ salutes Shelmith as she transitions from student to working adult.
